Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace

When harassment occurs within a workplace, it can be destructive to both the individuals involved as well as to the organization as a whole. It can immediately replace a positive workplace climate with one of fear and distrust.

Managers play a key role in creating and maintaining a workplace where harassment of any kind (including sexual, racial, and psychological) simply is not tolerated.

This program will help managers be effective in their leadership role by focusing on the following:

  • Being a positive role model within the organization
  • Identifying and responding to both potential and observed harassment
  • The harassment complaint and investigation procedure
  • The manager's role in the complaint and investigation processes

This workshop provides ample opportunity for participants to practice their new skills so that they can effectively apply them when they return to their jobs.
