AODA Training Solutions
At Global Learning, we recognize that employers today are faced with challenges in their workplace that limit the time, money, and resources they can invest in training solutions regardless of the necessity or importance of the material. We also recognize, in this changing world, that the traditional method of learning through the 45 to 60 minute courses designed by most solution providers is often no longer the approach of choice.
Diversity Moments™ are a unique and innovative approach to “just in time” organizational learning whose design uniquely addresses these critical factors by allowing employees to break their learning into the manageable pieces or “messages” that today’s learners are more comfortable with, and attracted to. It is for this reason that Diversity Moments™ is quickly becoming the solution of choice for corporations in the Top100 in North America.
In response to this growing trend in the marketplace, Global Learning has designed a unique training solution to meet the requirements of AODA. Building on the success of Global Learning’s Diversity Moments™, we have developed a series of AODA-specific Moments encompassing content necessary to build awareness around concepts explored in the first Standard in AODA: the Customer Service Standard. This creative and comprehensive series of on-line learning “vignettes” is designed to introduce the user to fundamentals in dealing with Persons with Disabilities. Concise and thought-provoking, each Diversity Moment provides the learner with context, decision points, and a take-away in 3 to 5 minutes of interactive web-based training.

- How to Work With or Service a Person with a Disability
- Working with Assistive Devices, Support Persons, and Service Animals
The AODA Diversity Moments are mandatory for all employees within your organization who interact in any capacity with your customers or clients. In order to meet the requirements of AODA, the employees will complete a Post-Test once they have viewed all 6 AODA Diversity Moments and will receive a Certificate of Completion once they have attained a pass grade of 80 percent or higher.
Diversity Moments can be accessed online through Global Learning’s Learning Management System (“LMS”) or, alternatively, be housed on an organization’s own LMS. If utilizing Global Learning’s LMS, your employees will self-register for the training; and usage by employee will be tracked and reported on a monthly basis for compliance purposes.
